Oscar combines Swedish, Deep Tissue and Shiatsu massage with passive and active stretching techniques to induce and encourage deep relaxation, increase circulation of blood and lymph, release and eliminate toxins, lengthen and relax tight and stiff muscles, eliminate energy blockages and to reorient the body to its proper alignment.
Oscar understand's the overworked body and successfully treats dancers, athletes, housewives, mothers, workingmen and others.
Oscar successfully treats computer, desk, car, airplane and truck bound people for arm, neck, shoulder and low back pain often associated with these activities.
Oscar studied colic in newborn babies and has successfully eased their gastric pain.
Oscar is Licensed to practice Massage Therapy in New York State. He is a graduate of the Swedish Institute Massage Therapy and is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Oscar is also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. In addition he has studied the martial arts for many years and has a Karate Black Belt certificate in the Tora Dojo Martial Arts Association. In addition to practicing massage, Oscar teaches Tai Chi for Health and is currently a student at Touro College where he is studying for a Masters in Acupuncture.
